This bulletin is a detailed and comprehensive study of the geology and mineralogy of a part of the Bembesi gold-belt in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). 1. The bulletin covers the general geology, stratigraphy, petrology, structural geology, metamorphism and ore deposits of the area, as well as providing maps and illustrations. It also discusses the origin and history of the granite batholiths that intrude into the older rocks2. The bulletin is a valuable source of information for anyone interested in the geology and mining history of Southern Rhodesia.

It was written by A. M. Macgregor, a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, and published in 1928.
