Leafy Season Socks
Leafy Season Socks are a pair of socks with a beautiful leaf pattern which wanders down across the outside of the sock,
a lovely detail that may become visible underneath a pair of pants.
Leafy Season Socks are worked from top to bottom on double-pointed needles, or on circular needles with Magic Loop
method. A ribbing edge is first worked, which can be casted on with long-tail cast on or Italian cast on. The leaf pattern
is worked asymmetrically on the outside of the sock, so there is a distinction between the right and left sock in the pattern.

The leg’s circumference is about 19-20 (20-21) 21-22 (22-23) cm, but can be stretched more
You find your size by choosing the circumference that best fits you, and it is recommended to
choose a size that is a bit snug at the beginning, since the sock will stretch with use.
The foot’s length is worked according to your own measurements.
Materials
All types of sock yarn with a meterage of 200-210 m per 50 grams, for example. Merida from Lamana or Arwetta from Filcolana:

Gauge
Approx. 28 sts and 38 rnds = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette on 2.5 mm needles.
The gauge is measured after washing and blocking.
