As she follows the money from wartime manifests to modern defence projects, Hannah uncovers a pattern of “lost” lines in the accounts, missing signatures, and decisions taken just off the official record. Every discrepancy points back to the same buried story: an evacuation that did not go to plan and a quiet attempt to make the evidence disappear.

Pulled between her duty to the uniform and the politics of the Ministry, Hannah must decide how far she is willing to push. The more she untangles the convoy’s legacy, the more people around her start closing ranks. Some want the truth out.
