The New Mayfair Dance Orchestra 1919 - 1940

The New Mayfair Dance Orhestra or NMDO, was the house band of The Gramophone Company whose recordings were released on the His Master's Voice label. Here are some gems under the baton mainly of Carroll Gibbons, but some directed by George W Byng or George Scott Wood. Singers Sam Browne, Les Allen, Brian Lawrance are on hand, amongst others to make this a really good collection.
