President of S. Woods Enterprises and CEO of both Treasure Coast Lexus & Treasure Coast Toyota, He's Florida's largest African-American owned auto dealer after being hired as an administrative trainee by Chrysler in 1973. His business since, grew to include ventures in real estate development, restaurants, and automotive collision centers, basically amassing more than a "Half Billion Dollar Empire!" Wood's Companies success has consistently landed him on the Black Enterprise's "Auto Dealer 100 list;" and in 2008, he was chosen as Who's Who Among African Americans. Sandy was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Association of Minority Auto Dealers in 2015.
