For this design, I envisioned a piece with both colorwork and texture. Typically, a design idea forms in my mind, and then I buy the yarn to suit. In this case I already had most of the yarn, so I created this pattern to suit the yarn. Most of the texture is derived from easy 3-stitch cables that are worked without a cable needle. Colorwork is located in the yoke, upper body, lower body, upper sleeves and lower sleeves, and both charts and written instructions are included. I hope you enjoy knitting this garment as much as I did!
