Vassago ritual
Vassago (also known as Vasago or Usagoo) is the third demon described in The Lesser Key of Solomon. He is a Prince of Hell of “good nature,” despite being a demon, and is said to be “of the same nature as Agares.” He commands 26 legions of demons and reveals past and future events to the magician who invokes him, as well as the location of lost objects.
Vassago is described as an angel, “just and true in all his deeds,” with the powers to inspire the love of women and reveal hidden treasures. However, he is also considered something of a shapeshifter. Most demons possess at least two forms — a human one and a demonic one — but Vassago seems to have many more, including that of a great scarlet dragon, and even appearing as one of the extraterrestrial beings known as “the Greys.”
At times he also manifests in the forms of other demons, especially in the demonic form of Agares — an old man riding a crocodile. Because of this, his true form remains unknown.
According to demonologists, he is invoked in high magic and is believed to be one of the Princes of Hell who commands 26 legions. In the Lemegeton, the grimoire titled The Clavicle of Solomon, one of the most popular books of demonology, he is described as “a mighty prince” who possesses the same nature as Agares. It also states that he is a spirit of “good” nature who declares all things past and future.
One description from a magician who invoked him states that he appeared “as a man riding a crocodile and carrying a goshawk on his right wrist. His eyes are hollow and see into other dimensions, yet he is blind in this dimension.”
Another description says that he appears “as a blood-red dragon, stretching about 30 feet long with great crimson wings. He walks on four legs, has green eyes and white fangs, and changes shape.”
