Kit Extractor – Turn your live sets in sample packs

Turn your Ableton Live projects into sample packs ready to sell or share. Kit Extractor is a Max for Live device that walks through your set and pulls out loops, stems and one shots, processed through each track's effect chain, named and organized into folders. No exporting track by track, no renaming files by hand.

WHAT IT DOES

• Scans your set and classifies every track: melody, drums, sub/808 or FX. If something looks off, change it with one click in the review list.

• 4, 8 or 16-bar loops: it automatically picks the busiest section, or uses Live's loop region.

• Stems for every track, loops for every group, plus full loops (Full Drums and Full Melodies).

• Automatic one shots:

– Melodies played in C: a long version for chords and a short one for single lines.

– Sub, 808 and bass in C.

– Every drum hit and every effect on its own.

• Everything runs through your effects, your groups and your mix: it sounds exactly like your set.

• BPM and key in every file name (for example, DarkNight_PLUCK_95bpm_Em.wav).

• Organized folders: Drums, Melodies and FX, each with Loops and One Shots.

• Build big packs: every capture is added to the same pack under its own name, and nothing gets overwritten.

• 24-bit WAV, normalized to −0.3 dBFS. Works at 44.1 and 48 kHz.

• Leaves your set exactly as it was when it finishes. If Live closes mid-capture, the Restore set button puts it back.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Put Kit Extractor first on your set's Main track.
2. Choose the pack folder and name the capture.
3. Review the track list and hit Capture all.

Capture happens in real time: Live plays the parts it needs while the device records, so the result is identical to what you hear.

• Windows and Live 11: in development, coming as a free update.

• English interface (a Spanish version is also available).
