Traditional Irish, Scottish and English Tunes for CGDA Tenor Banjo - Sheet Music Vol. 1

PDF sheet music for 40 traditional Irish, Scottish and English folk tunes popular in sessions, transposed for tenor banjo tuned CGDA.

You will receive two different pdf files with this download. One is for CGDA banjo played with open strings, and the other is for the same instrument with a capo on the second fret.

Within these two pdf books, there are two versions of each tune:

A "solo" version, which is for solo performance when not trying to join in with others, for which the notes are in the same places on the instrument as they would be on a GDAE banjo, so not in the original key;

One or more "session" versions, for which the tunes are in the key that they are usually played in. The banjo version swaps octaves where necessary to avoid climbing up the neck.
