WALLETTA BIFOLD
The Walletta Bifold is a sleek and versatile card wallet designed for everyday use. This stylish bifold is perfect for credit cards, (folded) cash and business cards. She comes in three sizes to suit your needs: small, medium and large.
The Walletta Bifold is an ideal scrap busting project and a great introduction to sewing with non-woven materials like leather or vinyl. She comes together very quick and is a perfect project for beginners and seasoned makers.
Do you want extra protection? The pattern also includes instructions for adding RFID-blocking fabric in order to protect your cards from electronic theft while keeping the Walletta sleek and stylish.
Whether you’re making one for yourself, a gift or to sell at markets, the Walletta Bifold is a small project with a big professional outcome!
DIMENSIONS
The finished dimensions of the Walletta Bifold are approximately:
Small: W 3 ½” x H 5” (8.5 x 13 cm), 6 card slots, 2 bill pockets
Medium: W 3 ½” x H 6” (8.5 x 15.5 cm), 10 card slots, 2 bill pockets
Large: W 3 ½” x H 7” (8.5 x 18 cm), 14 card slots, 2 bill pockets (bills fit unfolded)
SEWING LEVEL
Sewing level is rated as beginner.
RECOMMENDED MATERIALS
The Walletta is a raw edge pattern. You will need non fraying materials, like vinyl, cork or leather for the exterior, interior and lining pattern pieces. If you want to add extra protection against unauthorized scamming, you will need RFID fabric as your interlining.

1 PDF file with pattern pieces to print at home (Letter and A4)
1 ZIP file with SVG files for all pattern pieces to use with a (Cricut) cutting machine

MATERIALS

NOTIONS AND TOOLS
- basic sewing tools and sewing machine
- teflon foot or walking foot, teflon (narrow) zipper foot if working with vinyl or leather
- universal needles or leather needles #16 or #18 (size 100 or 110) depending on your chosen materials
- bonded nylon thread tex 70
- fabric glue, leather glue or contact cement with silicone brush depending on your chosen materials
- 1/8” (3 mm), ¼” (6 mm), 3/8” (1 cm) and 1/2”(13 mm) DST (double sided tape)
- ruler, craft knife, rotary cutter and/or scissors
- 2.5 mm hole puncher
- silver pen, sharpie, erasable fabric pen and/or chalk to make marks (test on scrap pieces first)
- clips
- seam roller tool
- skiving knife or electric bell skiver for leather (optional)
- Tokonole or edge paint with edge coat roller or awl (optional)
