Welcome MTL local stores!
I’m Riza Kintsugi, a Montreal-based creative marketer and a sophomore engineering student at McGill University.
Like most people, I grew up buying from Shein, Zara, H&M without thinking twice. Until one day, I watched a documentary showing children in Bangladesh pay the price for the clothes filling my closet. Moreover, I saw that my clothes weren’t last long with low-quality material.
I couldn’t unsee it!
But I also knew fast fashion wasn’t disappearing overnight. So instead of just feeling guilty, I asked myself the question I ask in every engineering class: what’s the actual problem, and how do I solve it?
The problem isn’t that people don’t care about slow fashion. The problem is that Montreal’s most beautiful local boutiques are invisible — while fast fashion brands spend millions making sure you never forget them.
That’s where I come in.
I combine the analytical mind of an engineer with the soul of a lifelong artist — someone who draws, sews, cooks and tells visual stories.
I visit your boutique, learn your history, understand your values, and then create social media ads and videos that make people stop scrolling and start caring about what you’ve built.
Because your store isn’t just a store. It’s a legacy. And it deserves to be seen.
