Bored of the river floor, he dreams of standing grand and noticed all on his own like the towering mountain in the distance. Leaping from the water, Pip climbs the steep hillside, only to discover that the solitary peak is a harsh, lonely place under a scorching sun. As the intense elements begin to wear him down, Pip discovers that true strength and wholeness do not come from standing isolated on a hill, but from the deep-rooted embrace of the community that keeps us secure.
