En Blanco 21. Rehabilitando con Hormigón

Si construir es inventar, al rehabilitar tomamos el pasado como soporte para la invención. 

Los proyectos que se presentan en este número de la revista EN BLANCO se plantean con la condición de mediar entre un pasado histórico y el momento actual. En nuestro caso, las preexistencias proceden de épocas muy distintas: desde la Antigüedad romana de Mérida, en el entorno del Templo de Diana, hasta el siglo XIX del Teatro Thalia de Lisboa y de la arquitectura industrial del Molino de Utebo.

If constructing is inventing, when rehabilitating we take the past as a support for the invention.

The projects presented in this issue of the journal EN BLANCO are characterised by the condition of mediating between a historical past and the present. In our case, the existing buildings come from very different periods: from the Roman Antiquity at Merida, in the vicinity of the Temple of Diana, up to the 19th century at the Thalia Theatre in Lisbon and at the industrial architecture of Utebo’s Mill.
