The recommended HTML companion runs locally in a web browser and is suited to quick event recording, complete event history and venue insights.

The supplied Excel workbook provides a traditional spreadsheet route with structured sheets, formulas, a dashboard and a fictional worked example.

Choose one as your main tool. They operate independently and do not automatically synchronise. The HTML companion can export a selected event as an Excel-ready CSV to reduce retyping.

The HTML companion runs in your browser and does not intentionally transmit your records. No account or subscription is required.

Your browser stores the HTML records locally, so regular JSON backups are important. Clearing browser data, changing device or using a different browser may make locally stored records unavailable.

IMPORTANT BOUNDARIES

This is an event-recording and planning tool. It is not:

• Accounting or bookkeeping software

• A tax or VAT tool

• Live inventory management

• A guaranteed demand forecast

• A replacement for professional financial advice

Contribution figures depend on the information entered and do not include labour, general overheads, tax or payment-processing fees unless entered as event costs.

The Excel workbooks are supplied in XLSX format and are intended for Microsoft Excel or a compatible spreadsheet application. Behaviour may vary in other spreadsheet software.
