The Human Rights Act, the Convention's history, and how rights are entrenched in the devolution settlements. This is the essay half of the human rights block, and it behaves the opposite way to Topic 44: it has carried the Section B essay twice in five sittings and has never once been set as a scenario.

That single fact changes how you should spend your time on it, and this module is built around it rather than around a generic revision shape.

OCR also published the selection layer for this topic, which almost nobody uses. Its Summer 2023 report ranks approaches explicitly: reciting Articles was "least successful", sections 2, 3 and 4 were "more successful", and devolution "tended to attract many marks".
