Fast Forward Cowl

I live in a place where we almost always have snow at the end of October, and it lasts until March or April. With the short winter days already here, I wanted a thick cozy cowl that would feel like a blanket. The bright colours hopefully can bring some cheer to the 16 hours of darkness!

There are two sizes of cowl included, each with its own stranded chart. The short length is designed to go around the neck once with a twist, and uses three colours. The longer cowl wraps around the neck twice, and is designed for five colours.

Gauge

Gauge is not important terribly important for this cowl, but it is designed for a 20/20 in 4” stitch gauge on 5mm needles after wet blocking.

Yarn required:

Short Cowl: 3 skeins total of Berroco Ultra Alpaca, 1 skein each in 3 colours

Long Cowl: 5 skeins total of Berroco Ultra Alpaca, 1 skein each in 5 colours
