Hazel's Fearful Night

Hazel, a little hedgehog, lived in a beautiful woodland surrounded by towering trees and glittering streams. Hazel was known for her inquisitive temperament and love of adventure, but she had one little flaw: she was scared of the dark.

Every evening, when the sun set below the horizon and the woodland became dark, Hazel would scurry back to her comfortable burrow, curling up in her soft nest of leaves. The night was full of odd sounds and shadows, and Hazel wanted to be somewhere secure and warm.
