Partner Exercises for Connection & Fitness
Skylar/Si Qi (SQ) and Aik Song (AS) (duo name "SQAS") will guide you through a series of partner connection drills and movement, to help you take on fun and accessible partner poses. They are both certified acroyoga teachers and Skylar is a certified dance movement therapist. Together, they help duos cultivate trust and a renewed sense of connection to each other.
Bring a partner along! Be it your date, your spouse, your child or parent - create meaningful memories as you work out your bodies and embody impressive poses for the grams!
This course is the perfect solution for pairs who want to trade "sitting side by side" time for genuinely doing something together
Complete beginners? Perfect!
No dance, yoga or acrobatics background needed. If you can do a gentle squat and lie on the floor, you can start.
The poses are sequences so that you'll cope, succeed, and secretly yearn for more.
Didn't expect acroyoga to feel so intimate during our session… We felt that it was easier than it looked as well, and I think our bodies adapted quite quickly with Si Qi's assistance and detailed explanation.
We felt safe trying new movements and appreciated how the instructors paid attention to proper technique while keeping the atmosphere fun and encouraging… We left feeling accomplished, connected, and excited to come back for more.
Came in not too sure what to expect but they were so patient, thorough and welcoming for us to try different acro yoga poses!
They created a safe space, set our mind in the right frame to enjoy and engage the movement with intention… My husband's favourite part was me learning to massage him afterwards haha.
This is the easiest first step. Learn at your own pace, repeat any lesson until you both feel ready, and message us whenever you get stuck.
Already finished the course? Your completion certificate gets you SGD $20 off a live session.
For duos who want more hands-on guidance, or have a health condition/physical injury that needs closer support, a private session with Skylar and Aik Song additionally includes:
Come review your poses with us or learn brand-new ones. Email us at @sqasity@gmail.com to book a live session!
None at all. The course is progressive: It starts with the friendliest pose and builds from there.
Each lesson takes about 15–20 minutes too complete. Some duos conquer a pose on their first try, while others repeat a lesson for a day or two to feel more confident.
Our rule of thumb is to repeat until you both feel a sense of progress, because some things can't be rushed.
Regardless of gender and roles, start with the lighter partner as flyer, and heavier/bigger parter as base. All these poses are suitable for partners with no size difference as well.
If you'd like to base someone bigger or heavier, simply go slower, check-in often, and make sure you have a clear fall space.
If you'd like extra reassurance, the live studio session is a great place to start.
Not at all. Parent–child pairs, siblings and best friends are all welcome.
Remember - it is easier to fly. So if you are a parent-child pair, the default is that the parent bases the child so as to ensure your safety.

Firstly, strictly follow the sequence of this course to ensure that your body and mind is prepared. Some moves may look deceivingly stable so avoid skipping the progressions.
If you do get injured e.g. sprain your wrist or accidentally strain a muscle, take a pause and practice the RICE method where appropriate.
