Pre-requisite / Entry level:

Course format:

2 practical (classroom) training / assessment days + online learning modules + case studies

+ monthly video calls for coursework support (dates tbc)

Course content:

• Unit UV40565 - Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of
• assessment
• Unit UV40575 - Internally assure the quality of assessment

Duration:

• GLH (Guided Learning Hours): 90. (GLH incl’s. practical, coursework, case studies, assessments, research/reading)
• Home study (Coursework): This is completed in your own time
• Practical Training: Please check out our current course dates on our website for the practical training element, additional dates can be supplied.

Attendance:

Case Studies:

Evidence must come from your internal

quality assurance performance in the work environment. There must be evidence of you monitoring a minimum of two assessors, each with a minimum of two learners of thier own, through components of a qualification. A minimum of one assessment must be observed.

Career potential:

Internal quality assurer (verifier / IQA) for vocational qualifications - employed or self-employed, working in a further education college, school or private training centre.
