The “Coffee Break” socks are very easy and fun to knit, even for a beginners. It’s a perfect pattern if You want to make a fleegle heel for the first time - an ideal heel for those with high instep.
You can make them with contrasting toes and cuffs or just with a single color, so many possibilities!
The socks are knitted from toe-up, seamlessly in the round. The pattern includes both, written and charted instructions. Happy knitting!!

The socks were designed to be worn with at least 2.5 cm / 1 “ of negative ease in width.

YARN
For a pair of socks you’ll need about { 260, 280, 300, 320 } m / { 285, 305, 330, 350 } y of any fingering weight yarn.
MC: { 195, 210, 225, 240 } m / { 214, 229, 248, 262 } y
CC: { 65, 70, 75, 80 } m / { 71, 76, 82, 88 } y of CC.
Note that the yardage is estimated and depends on sock length.

2 skeins in different colors of Ekstra-Motek Cool-towe Skarpetki ( 75% Wool - Merino, 25% Nylon / Polyamide; 400m / 437y per 100g )
Sample shown in “43” MC brown color and “55” CC blue color.

NEEDLES
2.25 mm ( US #1 ) circular needles for magic loop or DPNS, or size needed to get the right gauge.

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
stitch markers, cable needle, row counter, tapestry needle for weaving ends.

GAUGE
34 sts and 46 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 “ - in Stockinette Stitch pattern worked in the round with 2.25 mm ( US #1 ) needles, after wet blocking. Adjust needle size if necessary to get given gauge.
