PREACH MY WORD OR GET OUT OF MY HOUSE

What happens when the people standing behind the pulpit stop preaching the Word—and start preaching tradition?

Preach My Word or Get Out of My House is a bold and uncompromising examination of false teaching, religious tradition, and the responsibility of those who claim to speak on behalf of YAHUAH.

For generations, millions have entered churches trusting that the person behind the pulpit was giving them truth. But what happens when traditions are repeated without question? What happens when teachings are passed from preacher to preacher, denomination to denomination, and generation to generation without people going back to the Scriptures and examining the history for themselves?

This book asks readers to do exactly that.

One striking example is the history of the letter J. In 1524, Italian grammarian Gian Giorgio Trissino formally distinguished J from I as a separate letter representing a different sound. That historical fact raises a provocative question at the heart of this book: If the modern letter J did not exist as a distinct letter in biblical times, how did names beginning with J become the English names by which biblical figures are known today?

From there, Preach My Word or Get Out of My House challenges readers to investigate the Hebrew roots of Scripture, the sacred name YHWH, the names that have been carried through Hebrew, Greek, Latin, and English, and the difference between translation, transliteration, tradition, and original-language truth.

But this book is about far more than one letter or one name.

It is a warning to pastors, teachers, evangelists, prophets, bishops, apostles, and anyone else who claims authority to teach the Word: the pulpit is not yours. The house is not yours. The people are not yours. And the Word is not yours to rewrite.

False teaching has consequences.

When human tradition is elevated above Scripture, when popularity becomes more important than truth, when congregations are taught what keeps them comfortable instead of what calls them to obedience, people can be led farther and farther away from the very truth they came to the house of worship to find.

Preach My Word or Get Out of My House calls the reader back to examination: Search it. Study it. Question it. Test what you have been taught. Know the history. Know the Scriptures. And never accept something as truth simply because someone preached it from a pulpit.

This is for those who are willing to ask difficult questions.

It is also a warning to those who teach:

If you are going to stand in YAHUAH's house and claim to speak His Word, then preach His Word faithfully—or get out of His house.

NOTE: The 1524 J argument does not by itself establish what the Messiah’s original name was. The English “Jesus” developed through a linguistic chain commonly described as Hebrew Yeshua/Yehoshua → Greek Iēsous → Latin Iesus → English Jesus. So, we can use that history to ask, “How did the original names change as Scripture moved through languages?”
