This song is a reminder to myself and a call to other men to not shut ourselves out from the warmth of others and the support of friends and communities. It can also be considered a prayer, where the reality it is asking for often feels so far away.

I started writing this after watching the Louis Theroux Manosphere documentary where it seemed that the lives of those arch-influencers were so cold, lacking in emotional depth & empathy. I suppose this song could be for them, but mainly it's for those men who might be vulnerable to their influence. Perhaps it's also for those friends & family members who are trying to reach someone who has isolated themselves.
