Welcome to the Bronze Arts Award in Animation

This 10-month course is perfect for learners who want to bring drawings to life, explore animation history and styles, and earn a national qualification while developing storytelling and technical skills. From stop motion to digital GIFs, every project helps you grow as an artist and animator.

What is the Bronze Arts Award?

The Bronze Arts Award is a nationally recognised Level 1 Award in the Arts, accredited by Trinity College London and supported by Arts Council England. Over 10 months, you'll complete:

  • Part A: Take part in arts activities (creating, experimenting, and editing animation)
  • Part B: Be an audience member and review animation shows, films, or events
  • Part C: Research and respond to an animator or studio who inspires you
  • Part D: Share your skills by teaching someone a simple animation method


Course Access & Timeline

  • This course runs for 10 months. You must complete all 10 assignments to be eligible for submission. The Art Award needs 60 hours of work to complete.
  • Each assignment unlocks every 30 days from enrolment.
  • You'll upload evidence and reflections via our secure digital platform.
  • Access is set up within 48 hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm).
  • Support is always available by email, or you can request a free Zoom help call.


Payments & Structure

  • This course follows a monthly payment plan (no discounts).
  • Assignments cannot be skipped or done early.
  • The full Bronze Award can only be submitted once all 10 months are completed.
