Children can practice counting and number recognition in two different ways:

1. Number → Apples: Choose a number card and place it in the box on the activity mat. Have your child count out the correct number of apples and place them on the tree.

2. Apples → Number: Place any number of apples on the tree. Have your child count them and choose the correct number card to match.

This activity helps children practice counting from 1–10, number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, and fine motor skills.

Simply print, cut out the apples and number cards, and play! For longer use, laminate the pages and add Velcro dots.
