I Love Her And Her Red Flags
I Loved Her and All Her Red Flags
A True Story

Introduction
People say every love story begins with happiness. Mine didn’t.
Mine began with hope.
I believed love was about showing up, giving your all, protecting the people you cared about, and building something that would last. I believed if I loved hard enough, worked hard enough, and stayed loyal enough, I could build a forever with someone who wanted the same things I did.
I was wrong.
This isn’t a story about a perfect relationship. It’s a story about loving someone through every warning sign, every excuse, every broken promise, and every red flag I chose to ignore. It’s about giving until there was nothing left to give.
Looking back now, I can see the signs were there from the very beginning. I just believed love could change them.
Instead, love changed me.
This book isn’t written out of hate. It’s written from truth. Every chapter tells the story of how I fell in love, how I fought to keep us together, and how I slowly lost pieces of myself trying to save someone who wasn’t ready to be saved.
One lesson I learned over and over was this: every time something went wrong, Brinay believed sex could fix it. Every argument, every lie, every betrayal, every moment that should have ended with accountability somehow ended with intimacy instead. But sex never repaired broken trust. It never erased cheating. It never healed disrespect. It only delayed conversations that desperately needed to happen.
I wasn’t looking for someone to make love to me every time life got hard.
I was looking for honesty.
I was looking for loyalty.
I was looking for peace.
Most of all, I was looking for someone to build a family with.
Instead, I fell in love with every red flag standing right in front of me.
This is our story.
