Matthew 7:14

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

Endurance

Personally, I feel that the Holy Spirit has been the one coaching me in my life. I didn't always make that connection, until much later, but now I am able to have a better working relationship with the Lord because of my tenacity.

Of course, I would be lying if I said that I believed I had a choice, because I often don't feel that way. There were plenty of times that I felt forced and pressured into being a Christian. This is because I eventually realized that there were only two choices in life, which is the path to Heaven or the path to Hell.

Since it seems so rare to me in these times to find other believers passionately pursuing the least traveled road to Heaven, I have often felt hopeless.

When I do come across others, they are so preoccupied with the distractions of the enemy that it has been challenging to lock in with them.

I have designed this platform specifically for that reason, to lock in. Unfortunately, I am also caught up in the momentum of life and must work to pay my bills. Since I am not financially free and not pulling in a passive income with an infinite return, I like most must work to stay afloat.

We all need someone to lock in with, someone to help us when we're down, someone to check in and keep tabs on us. It should never be about money, I know I get it because I also need a mentor, I also need a role model, and Yes we know we have Jesus, but hopefully, you know what I mean. We must endure, we must keep fighting, and we must continue to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. We cannot get comfortable because as long as we draw breath our adversary is like a roaring lion seeking to devour us.

2 Timothy 2:3

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Matthew 24:13

“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

Support & Accountability

When I first gave my life to Christ, I didn't have a mentor that stayed with me to help me grow in faith and remain committed to the Lord. I actually didn't have any support or accountability. I believed that once I was saved, I was always saved. It wasn't until I went to Hell as a believer that I realized more was required. I didn't have anyone to push and motivate me to run the race. Which ultimately led me to continuously give up on myself. It got so bad that I tried to commit suicide on numerous occasions. The sad thing about that is all of the souls who were successful in their attempts.

I wish life wasn't so hard. I wish none of us had to go through this. I wish that no one would perish and go to hell. I think about these things a lot. I worry about the fate of humanity more than the average person. This is why I often feel alone and isolated. I see people living their lives, enjoying themselves, and I can't stop wondering where their ultimate destination will be. I wish I could do more, but I am only one man. At the end of the day, everyone has Free Will to do as they please and I get it. I am not perfect so I have also battled with returning to the world and turning my back on God. It's a real struggle and a real fight.

Even though we all have access to God, we don't always go to him. We have so many thoughts racing through our minds daily, that we are guilty of neglecting that relationship that is if we are even aware we have one. We must remember everyone doesn't believe what we believe. There are so many religions and beliefs in the world today, it's tough to pinpoint who believes what anymore. Ultimately, we must focus on ourselves and worry about our eternal destination and hopefully lead others to Christ as well by how we live our lives.

Just as AA has Sponsors and Mentors, which are usually those who went down a similar road, and were able to overcome it with the Lord's help. I see this program as that. I guess I am like a sponsor or big brother. Again, the Ball is in your court. It's on you to make the next move. I'll be waiting. Peace.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour
