PlantNet Strategy Plan 2002-2005

The purpose of the Strategy Plan is to describe the policies, plans and activities that PlantNet intends to implement within the next 3 years. Wherever possible, it shows how we plan to achieve the objectives and in many cases actual targets have been set. The Strategy starts with a number of introductory pages setting out the context for PlantNet’s development such as membership, capacity, funding and resources, conferences and training, publications, advice, data and membership surveys.

However, the main part deals with 12 policy statements on subjects ranging from horticulture and science to conservation, training, heritage and volunteers. The intention is that the Strategy will allow PlantNet members, and the wider community, to have a detailed understanding of what PlantNet is, what it does and the direction in which it is heading.
