The Golden Fall Cowl is inspired by the plants showing off their autumn hues around my neighborhood. Featuring slipped stitches and lace, it is a great addition to any wardrobe. Using 3 ply sport weight yarn makes it perfect for layering on chilly mornings and evenings, but small enough to tuck into a bag or pocket if it gets too warm. The cowl is also narrow enough to be looped twice and still be worn comfortably on people with shorter necks.
All of the plants that inspired this cowl are key food sources for pollinators in the fall. The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted beekeeping and production of quality goods. A portion of the total profits earned will be donated to the Minneapolis Institute of Art to support the rooftop hives and the University of Minnesota's Bee Squad that help to maintain the hives. If you'd like to continue to use your creativity to help the bees, I am also donating profits from my What's the Buzz Wrap.

3 ply sport weight yarn; total amount used: 450 yds/411 m
Main Color: 300 yds/274 m
Contrasting Color: 150 yds/137 m
Needles & Notions:
US 6/4 mm 24”/60 cm circular, or size to get gauge

Darning needle
