COMPOSITION AND DIVERSITY OF AQUATIC MACROINVERTEBRATES AS WATER EVALUATION SYSTEMS IN LOTIC ECOSYSTEMS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ANTIOQUIA - COLOMBIA (DOCUMENTS, DATA AND SLIDES)

Este trabajo de investigación se centra en el análisis de macroinvertebrados acuáticos en ríos y arroyos del departamento de Antioquia. Se explora su potencial como bioindicadores de calidad del agua, dado que su presencia, diversidad y composición reflejan las condiciones ecológicas y la salud del ecosistema.

Este proporciona una base sólida para el uso de macroinvertebrados en la gestión ambiental y el seguimiento de la calidad del agua en Antioquia. 

This research work focuses on the analysis of aquatic macroinvertebrates in rivers and streams in the department of Antioquia. Their potential as bioindicators of water quality is explored, given that their presence, diversity and composition reflect the ecological conditions and health of the ecosystem.

This provides a solid basis for the use of macroinvertebrates in environmental management and water quality monitoring in Antioquia.
