Make Time Quilt Pattern Bundle (PDF) - Collection of 18 block patterns - A British Collaboration Project
About the Pattern
The Make Time quilt (54" square) is a collaboration quilt project from four British quilt pattern designers:
- Nicola Dodd - Cake Stand Quilts
- Lou Orth - Lou Orth Designs
- Victoria Peat - Little Black Duck
- Jo Westfoot - The Crafty Nomad
Our theme for the 2025 project is 'Make Time to Do What Makes You Happy'!
In a busy world where our lives are full of work commitments, family responsibilities, and the distractions of social media, we are reminded of the importance of making time for activities that nourish our souls, make us happy, and force us to slow down and reconnect with what’s really important.
We have designed a collection of 19 detailed blocks featuring designs of things that make us happy. These blocks vary in size and shape and can be used together to make a quilt that finishes up at 54" square, a perfect throw size quilt. Or you might prefer to use them separately in other projects, such as bags, mini wall quilts, sewing machine covers, mug rugs, cushions, pouches etc.
Buy this pattern and you'll get all 19 blocks plus instructions on how to construct the quilt. The sewalong will be like a mini block of the month (BOM) program spread over 10 weeks. The price is £60 which is around £3.15 per block. (Normally detailed single blocks like this retail for £4-£6 so this is a bargain!).

Purchasing Details
This year we are keeping things simple for our customers by selling all the pattern files in one place. As this pattern bundle includes patterns from four different quilt pattern designers, please be aware that the writing style and pattern layout will vary. This is a great opportunity for finding new designers you might not have come across yet.
This is a PDF File available for immediate download after purchase - perfect if you want to get sewing straight away! But please note you will NOT be mailed a hard copy.
How to access PDF Downloads? When you buy a PDF pattern you will be offered to download it immediately after checkout. You will also receive an automated email to the email address that you input at checkout, this will be a receipt and will also contain a download link.
As this is a big pattern, the download will be a 'zipped' folder containing several files. Save it to your computer, then you will need to 'unzip' it by clicking on Extract. This will give you access to individual block pattern files.
If you don’t receive the email then please do check your spam and junk folders. If it’s not there then please email jo@thecraftynomad.co.uk, it may be that there was a typo in your email address. I can easily resolve issues if I know about them!
This pattern assumes the reader has the knowledge to baste, quilt and bind the quilt, and also knowledge of foundation paper piecing (FPP). However if this is your first time quilting, or doing FPP, don't despair as I have tutorials on my website to help you with these stages. You'll find them in the Tutorial section. :-)
Please note, as this is a digital product for immediate download it is not possible to issue refunds and customers lose their 14 day right to cancel. This is because it is not possible to recall PDF patterns. By continuing to purchase this product you are acknowledging that you have waived that right.
