Tennis Cross Stitch Bookmark Pattern

Need a gift for a Wimbledon fan? This lovely fun bookmark would make the perfect present for a tennis fan or for yourself. Summer's here, so is the tennis - and the strawberries. Make a little keepsake of the season with this pattern for a bookmark.

The pattern requires 9 colours and measures 2 x 6 inches (5 x 16 cm) when worked on Zweigart 2 inch aida band.

Instructions are included on how to cross stitch and backstitch, suggestions for threads including Madeira, DMC and Anchor, advice on finishing and full colour patterns that will print onto A4 paper.

While specific thread numbers are given, there’s no need to spend money to make this bookmark. Have you a stash of left over thread and some scraps of fabric? Make a bookmark! 

This is a counted cross stitch pattern which requires the ability to follow a chart. Some experience of cross stitch will be helpful, but full instructions are included so ambitious beginners are welcome.
