why I offer this
Too often, I encounter situations where pet owners remain unsure or receive inadequate explanations after a visit to the veterinarian. This has nothing to do with the veterinarian being incapable or incompetent – sometimes there simply isn't enough time for detailed explanations. Or, in foreign countries, language barriers can cause misunderstandings.
This is where I want to help.
Are you still unsure about what your pet has or why this treatment was chosen? I will provide you with all possible explanations in detail.

Sometimes there may be waiting times. Please note that I offer a consultation service only, not emergency care. If you require a response within a specific timeframe, please mention this in the contact form below. If I should be unable to process your request within the desired time, your request will be declined and you will NOT be charged.
Normally I will answer you within 1-2 days.

I help if you are unsure about something, I will give you an independent second opinion and will explain you everything that is not clear to you. The appointment ends, when you give the okay, when you are confident and feel safe with all information about your pet.
What I need for this service:
data about your pet
- breed
- age
- gender and castration status
- vaccinations
- deparasitation treatments
medical history
- diagnostics and findings that have been made
- current treatment
- any long-term treatments or medications, if available
I do not provide remote diagnostics! This is only about assistance and advice on dealing with a case that has been examined by local veterinarians.
I reserve the right to decline requests if a remote diagnosis is asked or if there has been no prior visit to a local veterinarian. If payment has already been made, I will refund the complete purchase price.
languages
You can comunicate with me in English and German (Swiss German, too). I also understand French and Spanish, but for detailed explanations I will stay in English. Documents / medical histories of your pet can be in English, German, French, Spanish. For other languages I will use translators. The medical information is in many languages similar and I will be able to understand the medical reports.

How long it takes until you receive an answer
After filling out the form below you will receive answer as soon as possible (normally in the next 1-2 days - no matter if weekday or weekend).
