Vintage 1920s Halloween — Art Deco Junk Journal Kit · 64 Printable Pages

Somewhere around 1926, Halloween got glamorous.

This is a junk journal kit for the Jazz Age kind of Hallowe'en — paper moons and masquerade masks, black cats in ribbon bows, deco fans and sunburst rays, a gramophone horn, a pumpkin sitting alone on an empty theatre stage. Printed in faded pumpkin orange and warm black on paper gone soft and sepia with age.

Deliberately not the usual Halloween kit: there's no gore and nothing grisly here. It's the charming, old-fashioned, spooky-sweet sort — art deco elegance with a black cat curled up in the middle of it.

What you get — 64 printable pages, A4, 300 DPI

- 12 atmospheric full-page backgrounds

- 14 pattern papers

- 12 seamless tileable papers

- 6 lined journal pages

- 6 textured and tea-stained papers

- 9 core ephemera sheets — fussy cuts, bookmarks, journaling cards, mini envelopes and postage, large hero cut-outs, creatures, empty deco frames, tags and tickets, banners and pennants

- 5 bonus ephemera sheets — cabinet-card mounts, postage stamps, two sheets of wax seals with embossed deco ornaments, and faux washi tape strips

A note on the blank plates — the tags, tickets, labels, frames and journaling cards are intentionally empty in the middle. They're there for your own handwriting.

Printing tip — warm cream or ivory paper around 200gsm, matte. The palette is built on aged cream and goes cold on bright white.
