Merci is right. Poor Merci found herself with extremely restricted use of her encased and angled legs after a car accident. While glad to be alive she had to learn how to get around in a wheelchair 24/7 -- Nevertheless she still tries to take limited, mincing steps to get out of her chair. The only thing on the lower half of her body she can still move are her toes. And she takes every opportunity to do so whenever she can.
