About Me - Pamela Toussaint Howard, Five-time published Author, Editor

Pamela Toussaint Howard is a native New Yorker who currently lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. She developed a love for the written word and the confidence to become a writer from her dad, a printing plant supervisor at The American Banker. At home, his habit was to correct errors he found while reading The New York Times—with a bright red pen. Pamela earned a degree in journalism from Fordham University and won a coveted summer internship at Essence magazine as a junior. She went on to become their associate lifestyle editor and voiceover artist. Subsequently, she worked as a trade newspaper reporter, media spokeswoman--and author and coauthor of five books with major publishers, including four with Penguin Random House. She currently loves writing daily inspirations for Guideposts publications. Pamela is passionate about helping others tell their stories with excellence, and preparing future authors to get paid to get published--instead of paying to self-publish!
