This is a listening and speaking exercise for Dutch learners at the A2-level. This file consists of two worksheets. The answers are provided in this file. The instructions are as follows.


Task 1. Listen to your classmate, then say your answer give in the table below.

When you answer, use ER or DAAR correctly in your sentence.

For example, you hear: “Is de bus al aangekomen?”, and you see: Nee de bus _____  _____ nog niet. You then answer: “Nee, de bus is er nog niet.” Use ER to replace an Indefinite Subject or a Place. DAAR can also be used to replace a Place.

 

Task 2. Read sentences 1-8 to your classmate. Your classmate should answer with the correct words. Check your classmate’s answer. If it is not good, say: “Dat is niet goed.” Give your classmate three chances to get it right. If it is not right the third time, give the answer.
