Tapestry: Aerial Storytelling with Elspeth (Early Bird)

What makes a story? In this workshop we will explore effective storytelling and the art of translating theatre and art to aerial movement. How can music, movement, and well-placed skills add to your story? How literal is too literal? What tools can we use to speak to the audience? After warming up with some creative group work, we’ll move through two sequence prompts (one ground and one aerial) with several external prompts including mood, music, and interaction. Bring a notebook and lots of phone space to document your creative journey! Suitable for Intermediate level dancers and up.
