The Reading Journal: A book for humans and adventurous spiders is a fun place where your kids can document their reading adventures and practice some creativity of their own. Thaddeus Spyder created this book because he uses a reading journal and reading is very important to him. He even wrote his own instructions in the beginning of the book!
The paperback journal contains a blank list in the beginning where kids can list the 50 books they read. Then there are 50 two-page spreads where they can explore their reading comprehension as they describe the characters and setting of the book, their thoughts on the story, and a full page to add their own parts to the story, draw the characters, add stickers, or whatever they feel like doing. It's a place to celebrate how we connect with stories. At there end there is another blank list where they can list the books they want to read.
