OG '93 Typeface

OG 93', a font created by TYPE FVCE aka YAMAGUCCI, a Canadian designer and musician currently residing in Japan. Created with hand written letters in 2022, OG 93' is TYPE FVCE’s take on a classic blackletter calligraphy style. Meshing elements of fraktur, textura and his own personal hand-styles, the font maintains legibility and style to give viewers a fresh sense of familiarity.

Created with the intention to make album covers, OG 93' can be used in a multitude of ways including tattoo design and billboards. The font features multiple ligatures with capitals that align nicely for those who like to break the rules and go all-caps using a blackletter font. The lower case letters all have base-connecting variants and a set of alternative capitals with 20 foreign currency symbols for use around the world.
