Course Description:
This course covers the difference between fire codes, fire standards, the differences between the two as well as when they become enforceable.
Next, the Commercial Kitchen Exhaust System is broken down into the four main components to help the student identify them, regardless of the system design, and differentiates between the Health and Fire authorities as the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
Lastly, the 3 required post-kitchen exhaust cleaning deliverables required by the customer, insurance companies, and AHJs are covered.
