Incendio Cowl

The Fire-Making Spell is one of the spells found in the book The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 1) by Miranda Goshawk. This cowl appears to have flames climbing all over it, making it the perfect name for this accessory! The pattern repeats every 7 stitches, which is also quite the interesting number in the wizarding world, just in case you wanted to look it up!

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn (4) - 220 yards
US 9/ 5.5mm 16” circular needles
Stitch markers (14, one different to mark beginning of round)
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Gauge: 16 stitches x 20 rows = 4 x 4 inches across in stockinette (flat)

Finished size: approximately 13.75” wide x 14.5” tall after blocking
