About the pattern

I love finding a stitch pattern and experimenting with it to get different looks. In this pattern, I focus on using a slipped stitch to give the illusion of a cable (so no cable needle required).

This hat pattern is written for one size which fits heads between 50 and 58 cm circumference. There are however, instructions included for how you can adapt the pattern to give a larger or smaller hat.

Materials & Gauge

Yarn: DK, approx 150m. Sample shown knitted in WYS Bo Peep DK (Colourway: Carousel)
Gauge: 38 sts & 36 rows = 10cm / 4in in 2 x 2 rib with smaller needles.
Needle suggestion: 3.5mm & 4mm circular needles or dpns (or size needed to obtain gauge).
