Tradition and respect for the land can be found in this riserva wine.Cupone has a unique and austere character obtained by using grapes from ol negroamaro bush-vines. A particularly bright and full-bodied red wine; hints of tobacco, nuts and Mediterranean herbs on the nose; soft tannins and balsamic hints on the palate.

PRODUCTION AREA AND HARVEST TIME
Guagnano - Manual harvest on the second 10 days of September.
AT THE WINERY
The grapes macerate for 2 weeks. The resulting wine is aged for 24 months,
12 of which in French oak barrels.
AGEING POTENTIAL
Only the best vintages are bottled. Not less than 10/15 years.
SERVING TEMPERATURE - FOOD MATCHINGS
18 °C - Lamb, potatoes and lampascioni (herbaceous plant from the bulb like
an onion); grilled Guagnano fresh sausage; boar stew.
