Larvikite is a dark grey to blue-grey rock that contains feldspar crystals with a blue or silver iridescence. It is named after the town of Larvik in Norway, where it is found. Larvikite is sometimes called “black moonstone” or “Norwegian pearl granite”.Labradorite is a grey to black rock that displays a range of colors when light reflects from its surface.his phenomenon is called “labradorescence” and is caused by the interference of light within the mineral structure. Labradorite is found in many places around the world, such as Canada, Madagascar, Finland, and Russia. Known as the "stone of transformation."
