6” Paddletail

6” Paddletail

When you want to cover some water without working a bait all the way back with your rod, try the 6 inch Paddletail. Its fish-shaped body, molded scale and gill details, and broad paddle tail give you a full baitfish profile. A built-in hook slot gives you room to position your hook.

Try it on a suitably sized swimbait jighead and start with a steady retrieve. Keep the bait rigged straight, then experiment with your speed. You can also mix in a pause or a gentle lift instead of making every cast the same.

Keep your approach simple at first. Work a stretch of water, change your angle, and adjust your pace before reaching for another bait.

Each 6 inch Paddletail is handcrafted by Proven Plastics. Because every bait is poured by hand, subtle variations in color, layering and finish are part of the process, giving each bait its own character.
