THE CONSULTATION ROOM

A small, intentional community for licensed mental health professionals who want a trusted space to think, process, and grow.

WHAT IS THE CONSULTATION ROOM?

This is not a course. It is not a webinar. It is a professional space where real clinicians talk about real work.

The mental health field asks a lot of you. You navigate complex cases, ethical gray areas, and the weight of private practice, often without anywhere to take it. Supervision has its purpose. Therapy is its own space. But peer consultation with colleagues who actually understand this work? That is harder to find than it should be.

The Consultation Room was built for exactly that. A capped, intimate community led by an experienced clinician who believes deeply in the value of consultation done well.

Who is this for?

Licensed mental health professionals who want a trusted peer community. Whether you are navigating private practice, working through complex cases, or simply looking for colleagues who understand this work, The Consultation Room was built for you.

What people are saying

Artboard 1

Amy is an experienced clinician and the supervision consult group has been an amazing resource. Being connected to the consultation group has helped me stay grounded and focused, provided support during tough times, and kept me connected with other clinicians. I recommend Amy's supervision consult group to all independently licensed clinicians who are looking for guidance and connection.

— Jessica Factor, LISW-S

Artboard 1

As soon as I knew I was going to open my own solo practice, I needed support and guidance from someone who had been through it. Amy has provided valuable knowledge not only on clinical cases, but also on marketing, AI, and private practice strategies. Yes! I would absolutely recommend this group, especially to those opening a solo private practice or looking for peer support.

— Founder & Counselor, LICDC

WHAT YOU GET AS A MEMBER

Monthly Live Consultation Call (1.5 hours)

A small group, intentionally capped, so every voice has room. Bring your cases, your questions, your practice challenges. Real conversation, not a lecture.

Private Slack Community

A space to connect between calls. Ask a quick question, share a resource, process something that came up, or simply feel connected to colleagues who get it.

Growing Resource Library

Templates, frameworks, and practical tools relevant to licensed practice. Added to regularly based on what the community needs.

The Consultation Room is a small, intentional space for licensed mental health professionals who want a trusted community to think alongside. If you have been doing this work without a room to bring it to, this is that room.

Key Benefits

  1. A space for the real stuff. Bring the cases that sit with you, the ethical questions without clear answers, and the challenges that come with doing this work. This is not a place for polished presentations — it is a place for honest professional conversation.
  2. Community that actually understands. The people in this room are doing the same work you are. No explaining the context, no translating the language. Just colleagues who get it.
  3. Connection that goes beyond the call. With our private Slack community, the room stays open between sessions. Ask a question mid-week, share a resource, or just check in with people who understand the weight of the week.
  4. A resource library built from real practice. Members get access to a growing collection of frameworks, templates, and tools that are practical and immediately usable — not theoretical.

ABOUT YOUR HOST

The Consultation Room is led by Amy Smitke, LISW-S, founder of Motivated Wellness Solutions.

Amy has spent years working alongside mental health professionals as a clinician, supervisor, trainer, and consultant. Her approach is trauma-informed and relationship-centered, built on the belief that clinicians do better work when they feel genuinely supported in their own professional lives.

In addition to leading The Consultation Room, Amy provides clinical supervision and consultation across Ohio, develops training and continuing education for mental health professionals, and is the creator of SuperVision Hub, a purpose-built platform for supervisors and the clinicians they support.

She knows this field from the inside. The Consultation Room reflects what she wished had existed earlier in her own career.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of this membership, all sales are final. Monthly members may cancel at any time and will not be charged for future billing cycles, but the current month is non-refundable. Annual members are not eligible for refunds regardless of attendance. By joining The Consultation Room you are reserving your spot in a capped, intentional group and that commitment goes both ways.
