Lacy rib bib and washcloth in 8ply/DK yarn - Lily

This matching 8ply/DK Bib and Washcloth are worked in a lovely lacy rib stitch. With only two rows to the pattern, it is deceptively easy to work.

 

My Bib and Washcloth set has been worked in 8ply yarn but this pattern can easily be adapted to suit other yarns.

 

Bib width: 17 cm [6¾ ins].

Bib length (excluding strap): 18cm [7 ins].

 

Washcloth width: 22cm [8¾ ins].

Washcloth length: 22cm [8¾ ins].

 

Yarn required: 2 balls Lincraft Cotton 8ply, 50g balls@100m.

 

Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm [UK 8, US 6] knitting needles.

Wool needle for sewing in ends.

 

Also required: 2 buttons for Bib.

 

Tension: 26.5 sts and 26 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over patt, using 4.00mm needles.
