Public Domain - Peter Bernstein

This frenetic rendition of Bernstein's "Public Domain" blows my mind every time! It features a great solo (12 chorus) on a C Major Blues with lots of descending lines and legato notes characteristic of Peter's articulation style. I tried my best to faithfully notate the fingerings Peter used and also to deliver all the ghost notes he intended, which are implicit in his phrasing.

This transcription (melody and solo) can be heard on his album "Heart's Content", released in 2003 by the Criss Cross label.
