gladden (v) – to make happy or glad

In 2021, I’m focusing my pattern designs on things that make me happy or that I wish for my fellow knitters. 2020 was a hard year, and so I am doing my best to put into the world the good things I want to see. I hope that these lacy socks, with their easily-memorized repeat and soothing rhythm, are a gladdening presence in your life.
