Frelsi is Icelandic language meaning freedom.

Frelsi is a lopapeysa pullover, knitted in traditional Icelandic wool, Alafoss Lopi. It is worked from the top-down and some short row shaping is used to shape the neck. There are no waist shaping in the pattern, however waist shaping can be easily added. Sleeves are shaped with decreases. The length of the sweater can be modified.*
